The Village Inn in the small,
hospitable village of Cornucopia, Wisconsin, offers the ambiance of an
intimate country inn. It is the perfect retreat for a relaxed
romantic getaway.
Lodging
The four guest rooms, each with
private bath, are tastefully decorated to depict all four of the
seasons. Every detail has been executed to complement the seasonal
décor.
The charming sitting room with its
comfortable seating, fireplace, and balcony is a pleasant place for you
to socialize after a day of sight-seeing or recreation. A
breakfast of fruit juice, coffee, fresh fruit and delicious baked goods
is served each morning in the sitting room.
The guest rooms and lounge area
are smoke-free; however, the balcony can be used by smokers.
Dining
Enjoy dinner in our gracious
restaurant, known for its specialties - fresh Lake Superior whitefish or
trout and fish chowder - and friendly, courteous service. For
lunch or drinks, enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of the inn's bar.
Entertainment
We offer live music every Friday and Saturday during the summer
at Wader's Tiki Bar. Came and join in the fun.
Sight-seeing & Other Activities
The South Shore area offers a
variety of activities to be enjoyed from season to season. Hiking,
boating, camping, tennis, fishing (stream, charter, ice), berry and
apple picking, cross country skiing, snowmobiling and ATV trails are
just a few activities to enjoy.
The picturesque harbor, two miles
of sandy beaches on Lake Superior, and beautiful sunsets are treasured
by artists, photographers and nature lovers.
