Every February the community gathers together to celebrate "Groundhog Day" with world famous "Jimmy the Groundhog" who has an 80% forecast success rate. Many community events and festivals, such as the Art & Craft Fair, Sweet Corn Festival in August, and WinterFest, promote fun and a great sense of community in Sun Prairie.
